Veg Mushroom Pizza | Homemade Pizza with instant pizza sauce and bread

Are you keeping up with our recent homemade pizza recipes on Youtube? Last Saturday we posted a video on how to make Simple Homemade Chicken pizza with using instant pizza sauce and bread and we thought why not make the same pizza for the vegetarians out there?! So we came up with our version of making homemade pizza with fresh mushrooms and some basic added vegetables . This recipe is my absolute favorite since I loved the mushrooms & corn combination in my pizza. It’s super simple, quick and delicious to sate your cravings at home instantly without burning a hole in your pocket. So here it goes…

Veg Mushroom Pizza

Pizza Ingredients :

Pizza Bread3
Mushrooms (sliced vertically half)250 grams
Corns1 small bowl
Pizza Sauce FunFoods by Dr. Oetker2-3 tbsp
Onions Sliced1
Red – Yellow – Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) Sliced1/2 each
Red Chili FlakesFor Seasoning
OreganoFor Seasoning
Italian Seasoning (Optional)For Seasoning
Cheddar Cheese & Mozzarella CheeseGrated
ButterTo Bake 1 tbsp

Pizza Chicken Marination Ingredients:

Mushrooms250 grams
Ginger Paste1 tsp
Garlic Paste1 tsp
Coriander Powder1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder1 tsp
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder1 tsp
Cornflour1 tbsp
Salt1 tsp/As Per Taste

How To Marinate the Mushrooms:

  • Mix all the listed ingredients above in a bowl with the mushrooms. Mix & Marinade. Set aside 30 minutes.
  • In a heated pan, add vegetable oil and fry the marinated mushrooms until the water releases and dries off over high flame for 20-25 minutes. Once done, set aside.

How To Make Mushroom Pizza:

Step 1: Apply 2-3 tbsp pizza sauce evenly over the pizza bread. Slice rectangle pieces of Cheese slices and place the cheddar cheese slices over the bread (If you don’t have cheese slices, grate them over). Grate Mozzarella Cheese and add the fried mushroom pieces evenly over the bread.

Step 2: Now add 10-12 corn pieces , chopped Onions and Bell Pepper over the bread. Spread well till its fully covered.

Step 3: Grate Pizza cheese, red chili flakes, oregano and Italian seasoning (optional).

Step 4: Add 1 tbsp butter in a pan and place the mushroom pizza and cover the pan over low medium flame, bake for 7-8 minutes approx. till the cheese melts and the bread is well cooked. Check in between to avoid over burning the bread bottom.

Step 5: Cut the pizza with a pizza cutter and serve hot with ketchup.
